We were looking for a unique way to experience wine country and found Huttopia's family-friendly glamping retreat! Well, we didn't find it per se, our friends invited us to join them for a few nights and we couldn't wait to go. When it comes to family travel, finding accommodations that suit everyone's needs can be a challenge, even when camping and glamping. But at Huttopia Wine Country, you can say goodbye to roughing it in a tent and hello to glamping in style. Just think, you love camping, but you don't have to set anything up. No tent set-up, no heating water or searching for a place to use the "facilities". At Huttopia you get spacious canvas tents with a range of accommodations to choose from that will make your family feel right at home, yet still like camping.
Our Trappeur tent offered us the comforts of home like electricity, a kitchenette, a private bathroom and a large enclosed deck with an outdoor sink, a lounge area and our own grill.
They provide an extra large cooler, ceiling fan, real mattresses (we had a queen bed for us adults and a bunk bed for the kids), bathroom with shower and sink (and great water pressure), lights and kitchen equipment. A genuine camp with small comforts.
But the adventure doesn't stop there. Huttopia Wine Country offers a wide array of activities for all ages. From swimming in the pool to playing outdoor games, there is something for everyone to enjoy. And for those looking to explore the surrounding wine country, there are hiking and biking trails that offer breathtaking views of the vineyards. As a matter of fact, Huttopia sits on Six Sigma Ranch and Winery, where tasting are plenty.
What I'm really excited about are the culinary delights coming soon to Huttopia Wine Country. While the adults can indulge in wine and food pairings, there will be kid-friendly options available that will please even the pickiest eaters. Think Pizza and Crapes!

We took a drive into the neighboring city of Saint Helena, where we enjoyed upscale restaurants, small town charm, and shopping galore. It was a bit of a break from our glamping lifestyle at Huttopia, and we enjoyed the contrast for some time before we returned to nature.
