SeaWorld's Rescue Tails
One of my family's favorite places to visit, is surprisingly not located in our home town. We find ourselves traveling 2 to 4 hours, depending on traffic, to SeaWorld San Diego, often. Even when the park was shut down for two months, like the rest of California, we still found ourselves enjoying SeaWorld's Sesame Street Parade of Lights, a safe drive-thru experience.
Fortunately, with a few changes, SeaWorld officially reopened for the second time during this pandemic.
SeaWorld, a licensed, permitted and accredited zoo is NOW OPEN and is operating in compliance with state safety guidelines for zoos. Rides, rollercoasters and indoor animal exhibits are temporarily closed at this time due to current State of California COVID-19 guidelines. We look forward to welcoming our guests back to our park for fun, safe and memorable experiences. - SeaWorld San Diego
SeaWorld has taken every precaution to ensure the safety of their patrons, while continuing to provide fun and educational animal exhibits and programs.
We were one of the few lucky families, who had the incredible opportunity to preview SeaWorld's upcoming show, Rescue Tails.
Located at Nautilus Amphitheater, this show introduces the audience to wonderful rescue animals, and SeaWorld's conservation efforts, all while giving the kids and grownups the time of their lives.
We were able to meet a few of the very special animals of Rescue Tails. Animals like, Spike, the alligator, who won our hearts.
Being a colossal animal lover, I was on cloud 9, having the chance to meet and interact with so many amazing animals. Our kids on the other hand? Well, they needed a little time to warm up to the idea. But once they did, there was no stopping our little boys from meeting all the birds of prey, reptiles, primates and more.
Rescue Tails Seating and Encounter
If you are anything like me, you are definitely going to want to meet the animals. Rescue Tails Seating and Encounter includes reserved seating for the show and a 15 minute encounter with the rescued animals. For the animals safety and well being, limited spots are available and online reservations are highly recommended.
