Santa Clarita, CA has a new purveyor of something old, in something new, and something all together delicious: Wafflecomb!
Last week, the boys, my mom and I, attended the grand opening of Wafflecomb, where my tastebuds were exposed to the wonders of the hot and crispy Hong Kong Bubble Waffle, filled with delectable soft serve ice cream.
Does the name sound familiar? That's because for several years, Wafflecomb was a very popular food truck. Does it ring a bell, now? Wafflecomb quickly gained a cult following for their inventive flavors and unlimited toppings. The woman-owned business was also recently featured as a Yelp Hot and New Business 2018.
With hundreds of combinations, I asked the owner, Nicole, to serve us four of their best.
The four of us really liked all of the flavor combinations, and had a great time trying each other's Bubble Waffle Ice Cream.
We had a lovely time at the grand opening. We danced, had appetizers, and fell for the delicious soft serve ice cream, served in sweet, warm Hong Kong Bubble Waffles.
I am grateful for being introduced to Wafflecomb Bubble Waffle Ice Cream, and will be back to try more scrumptious flavors again and again.
