How To: Valentine's Day Photos
It seems that I always start my Valentine's Day posts with "I've never been a fan of Valentine's Day". While that is very accurate, the sentiment is changing. When it come to my boys, I am a sucker for the holiday. There is just something about celebrating Valentine's Day with my delicious little guys. My forever Valentine's... or until they get girlfriends and wives, anyway. But, for now, I'm soaking it in all the X's and O's.
I could have done a lovely home photo shoot, and I'm sure it would have come out nice. But nothing, and I mean NOTHING, beats our fab Love Bug mini session at F8 Studios in Long Beach, CA.
We first discovered F8 Studios over the Holidays. They were the first photography studio we have heard of, who converted their parking lot into a gorgeous outdoor photo space. So we scheduled our photos with Santa and drove out to see them.
What we thought we would see, was nothing in comparison to the holiday setup, snow included, they created. It was not just a photo session, it was an entire experience. Santa knew the boys names, he had their names written on his "Nice" list. He knew the name of their Elf on the Shelf, and really took his time to make them feel like he was indeed Santa. Between the ambiance and meeting Santa, the boys were on cloud 9.
So when we heard about F8 Studio's Valentine's Day mini sessions, we knew we could not miss it.
