Show Synopsis

12-year-old Griffin Campbell and his family move to the small town of Sulphur Springs and take ownership of an abandoned hotel rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a girl who disappeared decades ago. Griffin befriends Harper, a bright-eyed, mystery-obsessed classmate and together, they uncover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time. In the past, they'll attempt to uncover the key to solving this unsolved mystery, a mystery that affects everyone close to them.

Episode 5 "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Time"

We had the pleasure of joining a group of wonderful bloggers and their kids, in a screening of the Episode 5 "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Time". Of course's I'm giving no spoilers here, but I will say, you're going to want to watch this episode. It will leave you wanting... no... NEEDING more. I'm talking to the parents, as much as I am to the kids. You are going to love this show.

I have to say a big "thank you" to Disney Channel PR and Kristin Cruz, who set us up with a lovely evening of cupcakes and mystery for us.

Dot's Cupcakes never disappoint.

We had a great time catching up on episode 4 "Time To Face The Music", where Harper and Griffin learn that Young Jess rigged the talent show out of her hatred for Savannah. They vow to go back and stop Jess from causing Savannah's disappearance.

Honestly, we were so into the show after just one episode, that we could not wait to screen episode 5 "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Time".

Snuggled up under a blankie, the boys devoured not only our cupcakes, but the show as well.

Episode 6 "Time Warped"

We love this show because it leaves us wanting more every single time. Let's just say, there's a campfire, scary stories and someone gets really spooked. Girl drama is real in this episode, and something strange is going on in the present and in the past. Without giving away too much, this episode was really good!

Episode 7 "Long Time Gone"

With yet another preview of Secret's of Sulphur Springs, I have to say, this show is the most exciting mystery of the year, and is definitely here for it.

As always, Disney Channel PR paired this week's episode preview with a delicious snack, which perfectly fit the episode.

In this episode, our heroes Griffin and Harper go back through the time portal to find a search party looking for Savannah, only to find strange admissions and more confusing information.

Episode 8 "If I could Turn Back Time"

Let's just jump right to it... every episode of Secret's of Sulphur Springs is a nail biter and a cliffhanger, but THIS episode, is thus far my favorite.

Without a total spoiler, I have to tell you that we finally get one big answer. But of course, in true SOSS form, it only opens up more questions.

The boys and I cannot wait to see what Griffin and Harper have cooked up for us next.

Fun fact, Sulphur Springs is a fictional town in Louisiana, but the series was filmed in New Orleans. So to celebrate Mardi Gras this week, Disney Channel PR sent us beignet from the world renowned Cafe Du Monde.

It was such fun preparing for our favorite Monday afternoon activity on Fat Tuesday!

Episode 9 "as time goes by"

Big news this week, friends. Disney's Secrets of Sulphur Springs is coming to Disney Plus February 26th. So if you have not been able to catch up with the best show on television, now is your chance.

This week, Disney Channel PR sent us delicious Pizza Making Kits from Jon and Vinny's. I can't tell you how much we appreciate our Monday afternoon previews of the week's Secret's of Sulphur Springs episodes. Mondays are particularly difficult for the boys and I, so we truly look forward to the end of the virtual school day, to jump right into whatever fun Disney Channel PR has planned for us,

We had a blast making pizzas and baking cookies, and we even set up a picnic inside (it was too windy outside), to watch the next nail biting episode of Secret's of Sulphur Springs.

In this week's episode, Griffin and Harper find an interesting clue inside an old hidden room, that they hope will lead them to Savannah. We're getting so close to solving this mystery, I can just feel it,

Episode 10 "No Time Like The Present"

As we near the end of the first season of Secret's of Sulphur Springs, we begin to find the answers that we are looking for, but in true SOSS form, new adventures and questions arise. In this week's episode of Secret's of Sulphur Springs, Griffin and Harper are surprised by what they discover when they travel even further back in time. And just as we begin to feel a sense of peace wash over us, a new quest emerges.

This week, to help us settle into the preview of the episode, Disney Channel PR Sent us a wonderful gift of hot cocoa bombs and Secrets of Sulphur Springs mugs.

It was truly the perfect fun, easy and delicious way to set the mood for an epic episode preview. It checked off all the boxes, easy for mom, fun "project" for the boys, and yummy for all, while we watched the show.
